Meeting new people is suitable for older children – toddlers and upwards, but it is never too early for your baby, the more language input your baby has, the more perceptive your baby will become.

If there are dolls around, while playing with your child, you can hold up the dolls and label them BOY, GIRL, MAN, LADY, PEOPLE, POLICE, etc as you play along, and include actions and facial expressions to make it entertaining.
